One of the most confusing things in the world of modern Motorola two -way radios is not whether the raido is capable of doing saomething but whether it’s actually enabled.

Err… What?

Let me explain. Motorola Solutions two-way radios have an almost impossibly large list of features available. Motorola Solutions terms this as capable. Some radios come with certain features enabled by default. Default available features are considered enabled features. Capable features can also be switched on using an enablement ID (or EID), also known as a activation licence.

When buying a Motorola Solutions radio, the word you’re looking for next to the featue you need is enabled. If it says capable, then you’re going to be charged extra for that feature.

Which Radios Have Bluetooth Capable And Enabled?

This was an exhausting task to say the least! Motorola has so many two-way radios in so many different
